The three Hex&Co locations, The Brooklyn Strategist, and The Uncommons are board game cafes in New York City that are co-owned by Jon Freeman and Greg May. Workers at the stores formed a union at the end of 2023 and are now bargaining for a contract.

Unfortunately, ownership has impeded contract negotiations by verbally abusing union members ("you should all burn in hell"; "disgusting, low-class morons"; "absolute insanity of the woke"), bringing up their unrelated political views, canceling and being late to sessions, and making counterproposals asking workers to concede certain rights. Tabletop workers and customers are standing together to demand equity and justice in the workplace and in the NYC gaming community at large!
